Hello website nomad! You must be weary from all your online travels. So kick back, relax, and allow me to give you the abridged version of the open book that is Kate. I’m a digital illustrator, avoider of wormholes, globetrotter, and a jack of all trades, (master of pun.) I am the most organized spontaneous person you’ll ever meet, and am serious about good humor. I kind of thought I’d be doing things like saying “Ciao Dahling” and kissing people I just met on both cheeks at this point in my life, but instead I have the freckled complexion of a tortilla, and own a bike I've lovingly named "Tom Cruiser." Well, to be fair, sometimes I say “chow,” but only if I’m talking about food.
Since studying digital design and animation during my undergraduate program, I have become fascinated with the effect that well- executed visual storytelling can have on an audience. This drove me to hold several job and internship titles over the last few years, from freelance illustrator, to graphic designer, to photographer/travel blogger, to Walt Disney World Cast Member. I've enjoyed all of these roles for different reasons, but my ideal job is one that allows me to tell compelling stories visually, and work closely with other creative folks.
